Kelly Hancock

Kelly Hancock, DNP, RN, NE-BC, FAAN

Executive Chief Nursing Officer, Cleveland Clinic

Kelly Hancock, DNP, RN, NE-BC, is executive chief nursing officer for Cleveland Clinic health system, and chief nursing officer for Cleveland Clinic main campus. A Cleveland Clinic veteran of more than 20 years, Hancock brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her esteemed leadership position. She spearheads the organization’s nearly 22,000 nursing team members that comprise the Stanley Shalom Zielony Institute for Nursing Excellence, overseeing nursing practice, development and education in inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation and home care fields. She also oversees the daily nursing activity and long-term strategy for Cleveland Clinic’s main campus location.

Throughout her tenure at Cleveland Clinic, Hancock has served in various director and manager positions. For seven years, she led nursing practice in the renowned Heart and Vascular Institute, which ranks number one in cardiac care by U.S. News and World Report. Hancock is a board-certified nurse executive advanced and a member of several prominent national nursing and leadership organizations.
Nancy Albert

Nancy Albert, PhD, CCNS, NE-BC, FAAN

Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Cleveland Clinic

As Associate Chief Nursing Officer of the Office of Research and Innovation, Dr. Albert administers and provides research and innovation services throughout Cleveland Clinic, a multicenter system. She conducts her own program of research and mentors nurses in research and evidence-based practice. Albert is also an external consultant and educator to nurses and healthcare teams wishing to promote evidence-based nursing practices, nursing research and innovative thinking.

Dr. Albert also serves as a clinical nurse specialist in advanced heart failure within an ambulatory heart failure clinic on the main campus of Cleveland Clinic. She is widely published with over 320 peer-reviewed publications in medical and nursing journals, over 15 book chapters and she is editor of a 2016 book titled: Building and Sustaining a Hospital-Based Nursing Research Program. Dr. Albert presents regionally, nationally and internationally and is a member of steering committees, work groups and task forces of many healthcare organizations that are focused on improving quality of care and clinical outcomes of patients with heart failure or cardiovascular diseases.
